  • 1. Review the Trainer Job Description

    Child Care Aware® of North Dakota will contract with trainers to facilitate occasional evening or weekend training sessions for early care and education professionals. Child Care Aware® will contract trainers on an as-needed basis determined by geographic needs and training content, will coordinate all event logistics (date, time, location, registration), and provide training materials and resources. Trainers are considered independent contractors and will be compensated at $75/contact hour. Additional compensation may be made for mileage and travel time.
    Trainer must fulfill the following requirements:
    - Growing Futures approved trainer (Career Pathways 1 or higher)
    Growing Futures sets and maintains standards for early care and education training and trainers in North Dakota. Child Care Aware® aligns all of its training to Growing Futures standards, and follows the same approval process as all other training organizations.
    - Previous training experience
    - Ability to speak and communicate effectively
    - Willing to train occasional evenings and weekends (some travel may be necessary)
